My name is IBRAHIM, Qasim Taiye from Ijagbo, Oyun LGA Kwara State. I was born on 11th May, 1982 in Ilorin, grew up, have my education and part of my work experience in Ilorin.
I am a Microbiologist by Training and profession. I hold a Master degree (M. Sc) and Bachelor degree (B. Sc) Microbiology from University of Ilorin. I attended Cherubim & Seraphim College, Ilorin. Formerly Microbiologist at Biomedical Ltd. Ilorin (2011 – 2013); Assistant Lecturer at Abdul-Raheem College of Advanced Studies, Igbaja (2013 – 2024) and Associate Lecturer at Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin (2014 – Till date).
My objective in life has always been “To excel and be outstanding at all times in the quest for self-fulfillment; and to be an asset to the organization I work for and the society at large”. I’ve always love to give back to the society I found myself, the peak of which I demonstrated by staging a National Youth Service Personal Community Development Project: “Kick Sickle Cell Disorder Out of Nigeria”.
What I love doing most is to impact meaningful and beneficial knowledge.
